Korea Trip 2015 Day 2: EVERLAND// GANGNAM// JONGNO

In Day 2 of the Korea Trip, we went to EVERLAND~

In the previous time that I went to everland was with the tour, and we only had like what, 3 hours for the whole park?
And it was also snowing so the wooden coaster (T-express) was closed. TT

We woke up in the morning to take the subway to Gangnam station, and we picked up the T-money card which is something like the ez-link card at some street side pop-up store.
The store owner was an old man and he was very kind to explain to us how to use it and all but he did it all in Korean... LOL.
The card itself cost 2,500 won with a value of 10,000 won so total was 12,500 won ($15.82).

We took the subway from our apartment (Jonggak station) to Gangnam station and it took around 13 stations, 40 minutes.
Before you get to Korea, I strongly recommend you to download this subway app "Subway Korea".
It is wonderful, what an useful application man.
It shows you how long you will need to take, how many stops, and even suggest the fewest/fastest route to take. And most importantly, HOW MUCH.
Whats best is that it shows real time subway arriving time and you can even set an alarm in case you miss your stop.
Its seriously damn good, and you do not even need wifi to use it.
/sighs in goodness

The subway fare from our station to Gangnam was 1,150 won which was a drastic difference from the 3,300 won subway train ride we took on the first day.
SO TRAVELLING USING T-MONEY IS SO SO MUCH CHEAPER. :<

Anyways, we reached gangnam station, and we walked to exit 10, which was the nearest exit to take the bus to Everland. But the burdens where late so we waited at Duskin Robins for some breakfast.
I bought some cinnamon churros and donuts, and the churro is omg.
Do not buy it. Thank you.

The rest of them finally reached and we took the 5002 bus to everland, which took around 40-50mins.
You just need to pay through the T-money, which costs around 2100 won.
The public bus is recommended as it saves you so much money from the shuttle bus!
Taking the subway and the public bus from our apartment cost around 6,500 won for two ways ($8.22), as compared to the tour shuttle bus for 12,000 won. ($15.20)

The bus will stop at the bus terminal, and you will have to take the free shuttle bus provided by Everland to get into the theme park.
It takes around 5-10 mins to get to the theme park entrance with the shuttle bus.
You can purchase the entrance ticket at a discounted price for tourists at 32,000 won which is around $40.50.
I swear everland tickets are damn cheap and worth it unlike USS omg.

We went in and the skyride was down so we had to walk all the way down to the other side of the park where the T-express is located at.

We decided to have brunch at some restaurant before we started taking the rides.

There wasn't much of a Q for most of the rides, the longest we Q-ed for was the T-express which took around 40 mins or so?

But it was so worth it, I wanna take again~

And because I was not on a tour this time, I managed to take some time and explore places which I've never been to the last trip and I feel like I wanna stay in everland forever.

After we took our last ride, which was the safari adventure in the zoo, it was getting colder.

I ran to the Kpop hologram show by YG but it was CLOSED. I came twice and I didn't watch it even once. TT

2015;
2013;
Everland was up on a mountain and it was especially cold that night.

We went off taking the public bus back to gangnam as the night is getting colder and all of us had to change our apartment the next day.
Initially we wanted to have something nice but we decided that we are too hungry and cold so we just looked for something to eat around the gangnam station.

Which happened to be: ARMY STEWWWWWW

The rest had ate this before we came and they said it was super cheap, and it was.
I shared with Christie and Julian and it was only 27,000 won so each of us paid 9000won ($11.39).
The meal was so worth it omg....

And after that, Sandra and I decided to walk around our first apartment, as it was the last night at that area.
But there is nothing much as I guess it all commercial buildings.
We headed back to pack our luggage for our next apartment the next day.

I know it is stupid and troublesome to stay in different apartments in 9 nights but it was the peak period so most of the apartments are booked on different days.
That's why I had to stay in 3 different accommodations during this trip.

Till the next day;
